Product Introduction:

Electroplating screw refers to a layer of electroplating on the surface of the screw. The screw substrate can be SKD61/SACM645/38CrMoAla, and the surface can be chrome plated, titanium plated, nickel plated. Electroplated screw has the properties of acid resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Chrome plating treatment is mainly for anti-corrosion, according to the production of different materials and need chrome plating anti-corrosion. Chromium-plated layer has good chemical stability, in alkali, sulfide, nitric acid and most organic acids have no effect, but can dissolve in halogen acid, such as hydrochloric acid idle heat sulfuric acid. There are two methods of chromium plating, the first is decorative chromium plating, the second is hard chromium plating. Electroplating hard chromium is a better method to increase the surface hardness, this method has many advantages, so in most cases it is used.

Chromium plating manufacturing process: the main component of chromium plating solution is not metal chromium salt, but the oxygen-chromic acid of chromium, which is a strong acid plating solution. In the electroplating process, the cathode process is complicated, and the cathode current is mostly consumed in the two side reactions of hydrogen evolution and reduction of hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium. The cathode current efficiency of screw cylinder chromium plating is very low (10%-18%), and there are three abnormal phenomena: the current efficiency decreases with the increase of chromium anhydride concentration, decreases with the increase of temperature, and increases with the increase of current density.
