Product Introduction:

Electroplating screw refers to a layer of electroplating on the surface of the screw. The base material of screw can be SKD61/SACM645/38CrMoAla, and the surface can be plated with chrome, titanium and nickel. The electroplating screw has the properties of acid resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Chromium plating treatment is mainly for anti-corrosion, according to the production of different materials and the need for chromium plating anti-corrosion. Chromium plating layer has good chemical stability, in alkali, sulfide, nitric acid and most organic acids do not occur, but can be dissolved in hydrogen halide acid, such as: hydrochloric acid idle heat sulfuric acid. There are two methods of chrome plating, the first is electroplating decorative chrome, and the second is electroplating hard chrome. Electroplating hard chromium is a better way to increase the surface hardness. This method has many advantages, so electroplating hard chromium is used in most cases.

Chromium plating manufacturing process: the main component of chromium plating solution is not metal chromate, but chromium oxyacid – chromic acid, which belongs to strong acid plating solution. In the process of electroplating, the cathode process is complex, and most of the cathode current is consumed in hydrogen evolution and the reduction of hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium. The cathode current efficiency of chromium plating on the screw barrel is very low (10%~18%), and there are three abnormal phenomena: the current efficiency decreases with the increase of chromic anhydride concentration, decreases with the increase of temperature, and increases with the increase of current density.
