Product Introduction:

Exhaust extruder refers to the extruder with an exhaust port in the middle of the barrel so that the air and volatiles in the processed plastic can be eliminated.

The exhaust gas comes from three aspects :

(1) the air brought in between the solid particles;

(2) Moisture adsorbed on solid particles;

(3) Gas or liquid impurities contained in solid particles, such as residual monomer, low boiling plasticizer, low molecular volatile matter and water, etc.

In the process of extrusion molding, due to the moisture absorption of the raw materials used or the raw materials themselves containing volatile substances, resulting in bubbles and pores in the extruded products, affecting the quality of products. When the residual gas has a great influence on the processing quality, the IM polymer granules should be dried in advance. This problem can be effectively solved by using exhaust extruder. The screw of the exhaust extruder is composed of three parts, namely, the primary extrusion part, the exhaust part and the secondary extrusion part. The screw of one extrusion part is divided into feeding section, compression section and homogenization section. The material is melted and plasticized after a extrusion, into the exhaust part, the screw groove of the exhaust screw suddenly becomes deep, so that the pressure of the material in the exhaust part drops suddenly, the original compressed gas and vaporized volatiles in the polymer are released here, and the molten plastic expansion and foaming has been basically plasticized. Material in the exhaust screw stirring and shearing, so that the bubble rupture, and make the gas out of the material. The discharged gas is removed by a vacuum pump at the exhaust port. The plastic with the gas and volatiles removed is further compressed and plasticized by the secondary extrusion part under the transport of the screw, and the products are made from the extruder head.
